Gold Coast has already shown its' people are willing to fight. We have fought against Allconnex, we have fought for Kirra, we have fought for The Spit, we have fought to protect waterways, stop quarries and deforestation. Wherever we have sensed injustice or inequality we have stood and fought for what is right. We may not have always won, but we have always made sure our voices were heard. Now we have the biggest fight to date.Saturday 15th of October at 7am Occupy Gold Coast will descend upon Cavill Avenue in Surfers Paradise. Come and protest for what is right, what is just, and what is fair.
We are the 99% and we are legion!
